Floor panels. I think I read a tutorial a while back about building cheap GW style ruins with chipboard that used those plastic grid thingies for flooring.

Essentially, you cut plasticard out to make framing pieces with the plastic grid underneath the frame to make grate flooring.

makes great grates and window mesh.

you could try and make a cage with it to if you need cages.
