Hey Dakkanauts,

I have a 1500 point tournament coming up (my first one for AoS). I've got a rough idea of a list together for my KO but I'd love some suggestions. Specifically, whether to run two Khemists or an Admiral and a Khemist.

Skyport: (Not sure, might do either Zilfin or Urbaz)

Arkanaut Admiral

Aether Khemist

Navigator

10x Arkanaut Company 3x Skyhooks

10x Arkanaut Company 3x Volley Guns

10x Arkanaut Company 3x Skypikes

10x Grundstock Thunderers - Aethershot Rifles

3x Endrinriggers - Chainsaws

Ironclad

Part of me is thinking Zilfin for the deep striking Ironclad for a three drop list. Urbaz is nice to counter only having 1 Khemist in the list (unless I run 2). I also heard Mhonar and Thryng are pretty solid as well, but haven't had a chance to try them yet.

Mhornar is the best sky port because of the command trait. It used to be between them and Urbaz but then Khemists got nerfed. Dump the Navigator unless your enemy has a heavy caster meta, replace him with 5 more gunners or ally in 5 liberators to stand in front of your gun line.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

I sadly do not have Liberators or 5 additional gunners anymore in my possession. I do have a decent amount of Dispossessed, however.

Any suggestion with regards to that, or just keep the Navigator?

Throw down 10 warriors with full command (this means one of each banner), great weapons, and shields (because apparently duardin warriors all have monkey grip).

*shows up way late* drop the navigator, probably the thunder era and if you run Zilfin, the admiral too. Grab a second one jet and as many riggers as you can fit otherwise. The admiral is good for an Urbaz list, but in that list you don’t really want ships. You’ll want 2 khemists pretty much always. Endrinriggers are your killers, you’ll want a fair sized unit, 9 to 12 even at 1500
