I'm a new guard player, happened to pick up some catachan kits before the codex even dropped and now I'm looking for a little input on how to make a semicompetitive fluffy list. Kinda going for a vietnam inspired tactical army. Having said that Valkeryies must be included and I'd really like to keep the basilisks as well. Any constructive criticism is welcomed.

Vet squad barker and platoon commander in one valkyrie, Straken and bullgryns in the other. I realize no psychers or priests kinda hurt and lack of mobility for the troops could be an issue.

Aren't you 3 troops short of a Brigade?
