Hey everyone, Ive been buying the models I liked and have been piecing everything together since I sold all my armies a few years ago and this is what Ive come up with. Ive only played some kitchen table 40k since 8th dropped so my understanding of the rules might still be pulling me back to my days in 5th, but how does it look so far?

Battalion

HQ
Swarmlord
Malathrope

Elite
Haruspex

Troops
20 Genestealers w/ scytals
15 Termagaunts bare
2x3 Ripper bases bare

Fast Attack
2 Harpys w/ Stranglethorn Cannon

Heavy
3x3 Biovores

Tranport
2 Pods w/ Venom Cannons

Terms bubble wrap Biovores and Malathrope while trying to keep at least 1 within Malanthropes bubble.
Biovores launch 9 spores/MW each turn usually concentrating on a specific flank.
The other flank is focused on by Swarmlord and either Genestealers or Haruspex in pods. Which ever isn't in the pod runs up the middle as a Distraction saturating my opponent with targets.
Rippers obviously pop up and grab an objective, if needed, gaunts will break off and grab one too.
Harpys are a late addition, only putting them in last night, but dropping even more spores and MW has been great so far.

Whats everyones thoughts on it?

play this list figure out what is not working and why ....

Haruspex just awfull ugly model and a bad choice i would not bring him to a game i would have gone out and got a trygon
its a mutch more functional unit because if it deepstikes you can deepstrike a troop unit for free no need to put the gene stealers in the pod. you could have saved your self some money. and got a second trygon.

a wise investment is termagaunts get 5 more and put devours on them a unit of 20 for 8 points the piece you get 60 S4 shooting attacks. and get to reroll the 1 for wounds ...if it was my choice i would deep strike the termagaunts with devours . they are a great diversion

bubble wrap your biovores....? that will be a first they are very cheap units and not really a big target in a few turns they are Ider dead or your opponent is not bothering to target them.

back to your list i would deepstrike the swarmlord and the haruspex dont waist points on the weapons of the pods they cannot hit any thing . use the Swarmlord to slingshot the haryspex and try to get himself in to combat. move up the rest of your army
try a few games find out what you are missing... you could have OoE and a stone fex for less points then the haruspex and are 2 times as scary
