So browsing the interwebz Ive run across Dystopian Legions.
It seems like an interesting game and I've always liked alternate history
But whats everyones opinion of the game?
furthermore if anyone has played or is a collector what are the models like? Scale, quality, assembly and so on

I have some Japanese troops. I never played the game though.
Scalewise the are big 32mm scale. The quality is good, but the swords are a bit thin and bend easily.

loved the minis and the game was ok..
lots of dice to roll.

keep in mind that spartan is gone and while wardcradle has picked up their stuff it may be a while before it is supported again.

oh, scale... if i remember correctly they were slightly taller than your average 40k mini.

That might explain why the models are so expensive. I’ve been looking at the Japanese faction and that sphere tank ironclad thing look like something I could convert

Spartan is dead now so either buy several factions worth and host games/collect or stay away.

The IP was picked up by Warcradle/Wayland Games so who knows what is in store for the future.

AFAIK Warcradle isn't totally sure what to do with it yet, either. There will be no news about the IPs acquired from Spartan until the new year, according to a Warcradle employee I spoke with.

The figures are pretty big, they do not fit well with other figs sold as 28mm/32mm.

Very much Britains toy soldier scale. Game suffered from balance and lack of options which was a shame as all the Spartan games have a good underlying mechanism.
