I haven't been able to figure out what some of the bits are for. Specifically - the antenna array. I've got a 3-eyed thing, antennas, and a radar dish. Are those suppose to represent specific upgrades?

Also - are the foot-pad things optional (just for looks?), or do they correspond to some kind of upgrade too? The pictures I've seen only show them on the Icarus Array variant.

I don't think the antenna array is any upgrade. I like the three eyed part.

I dont have that model but the codex says that it may take either smoke lanuchers or a data-tether(3" bubble +1 leadership for units inside the bubble). I guess that is your antenna part or your radar.

Rest there is no text of, so unless they are mandatory parts of the model they are visual optionals.

Thanks for the info. I decided to go with the 3-eye thing. I think ill skip out on the foot-pads too.
