I've been working on a Ritualist (Shaman/Necromancer) since the xpac came out, though I ended up making him a vitality/bleed bruiser and not the pet master I originally intended. I always do that. I set out to play a pet master and somehow ended up with another walking beat stick XD
I really like the Grim Dawn necromancer a lot more than the Diablo III one, not that the Diablo III one is bad, it just doesn't play the way I envisioned. Haven't gotten around to the Inquisitor but damn I feel like a Purifier (Inquisitor/Demolitionist) duel wielding pistols could be one of the highest damage class combos in the game, with strong survivability to boot.
The pets from the Necromancer are absolutely insane. I don't think I've ever seen anyone roll over content during the first difficulty, like the Skeletons do!
I'd like to eventually do a Necromancer/Occultist. Seems like a great combo! My main is a Witch Hunter that I'm still playing, I just started the game about a month ago! So far there is plenty of content with the difficulty levels and expansion. I also like that the loot drops are geared toward single player.
I also have a Purifier that I play on occasion, which is also a blast.
