Our story starts with the High Lord Ezikiel Cane contemplating his mission in the gothic sector...

++STAR DATE 210.M42++
++PERSONAL LOG OF LORD INQUISITOR EZIKIEL CANE++

On board a light cruiser en-route to Spacehulk Andromedas I look to the stars around me, hoping for some normalcy, some semblance of familiarity… For several hundred years now there has been a tear across the night sky, which some might say is a beautiful splash of purple in an otherwise dreary black tapestry. I However see it as a sign of reckoning, a final punishment for all of humanity’s transgressions. Where did we go wrong? The universe is in peril; we’re being swallowed up by the ruinous powers of chaos and all that can stand in the way of our species’ annihilation is a united front of mankind held firm behind the light of the eternal emperor. This, of course, relies on humanity fighting together towards a common goal, something that hasn’t been seen since the time of the Emperors great crusade. Do we have the will to fight alongside one another to protect what is most important to us, the very existence of our species? or will we fall to dust, the remnants of our great civilization little more than trinkets found beneath the feet of daemons…. But enough of this philosophical rambling, I have problems on my own front to focus on.

I have been ordered to reign in the gothic sector, this cluster of planets is essential to guarding the safety of the greater imperium. I’ve heard faint whisperings of an uprising on the planet Caspian 3 which reek of heresy as well as a complete shutdown of the space port Aquilus for an unknown reason. Due to the nature and scope of the orders I have been given, I found it necessary to gather three inquisitors and their retinues to aid me. These inquisitors will come from different schools of thought and parts of the galaxy to work together, that is if their differences don’t drive them to kill each other first. This will be a true test of humanity’s will to save itself against perilous odds. Will they succeed or will the gothic sector be the next in line to fall to chaos…. The outcome rests on my shoulders.

++ END TRANSMISSION ++

After our 3 inquisitors arrived on the ship they learned that Inquisitor Cane was delayed due to unforseen events in the Rah anomaly. As the inquisitors made their way from the tavern on-board space hulk Andromedas to meet with Admiral Jebediah, our hoursian Inquisitor pulled out his knife as a show of intimidation, while attempting to lick the blade our player rolled a one and sliced his tongue off... now he may only speak psychically. After meeting with the Admiral players were given their mission:

++...You’ve heard about the admiral before, being over 700 standard years’ old Admiral Agoston Jedediah is one of the eldest humans on this ship. He had seen plenty of action in his past campaigns, and had been mortally wounded by a bolt through the chest in a mission during the Konor campaign, most men would have died from a wound like this but not the admiral, men aboard the Andromedas would say he had too much spite for the traitor to die. He was now connected to a life support system developed by one the highest commemorated adepts of the mechanicum, Barahm, the system not only saved his life but has kept him in fighting condition ever since, some even say he’s stronger now than before....++

Sorry for the lack of content, I've been working hard on the army, here are a few editions:

Tech adept Bahram's personal retinue of xeno-archeologist servitors. these minis are about 90% finished, everything will need touch-ups before Adepticon.

++mechanical abominations created with servo-skulls infected with the flayer virus for use as a terror tactic by Inquisitor Luther Crux during his Caspian III campaign

Looking at the close up pictures of these I'm seeing a lot of room for touch-ups/ detail work. Looks like I'll have to take pictures at a distance next time again, all of these guys will need more work before Adepticon
