Hey guys

So last week I finished building my first army which is space wolves. Now before I start getting more models I want to figure out a color scheme to go with since I find the original baby blue scheme to look too bright and not to my tastes. After searching for ideas online I stumbled across the attached image.
So what I was hoping to get from you guys was a paints list suited to a first time painter for this color scheme. And if you have any better color suggestions leave them down below
Thanks guys

No idea on the colours - but it's a great colour scheme.

It looks like you could achieve that result by using Mechanicus standard grey and highlighting with fenrisian grey (which may be too light?) or Russ grey. Also, if you want to go quick and dirty, then army painter wolf grey followed by a wash of nuln oil (or army painter dark tone ink) would probably also get you fairly close. Hope this helps.
Cheers.

Thanks man think I might go for the quick and dirty method since I like the idea of weathered looking armor.

Any other ideas in terms of the red on the armor?

I'd probably go mephiston red base, agrax earthshade wash, with a flesh-tone highlight. Ill see if I have a spare marine I can do a mock up before you invest in any paints.

Okay. So here is a VERY quick and dirty prototype for you It's army painter wolf grey and mephiston red doused in nuln oil wash. I gave one or two cursory highlights with cadian flesh for the red and fenrisian grey for the armor. Hope this helps.
