Hello friends.
For some time, a friend and I, we are playing Warhammer 40000 in 15 mm.
We are currently using the warhammer 40000 rules and units of apocalypse.
and the truth is that they are very good for this scale.

your mind

Dayam, that is awesome and makes complete sense.
40k got too big for the 6x4 table.
15mm, or even old epic scale, these make much more sense with all the superheavies and 50man units.
Nice!

Great stuff where are the vehicles from?

40K is a game that thematically works so well in smaller scales (hint, hint GW) and you have done a fantastic job on these models

I've been playing a while, my first model was a lead marine and my first White Dwarf was bound with staples

Looks like all his infantry is Vanguard Miniatures, they have a complete 6mm Epic scale line of Orks, SM and IG and have recently started doing these 15mm figures as well. I've considered making an army of them, but Vanguard only makes the vehicles in 6mm so far, not 15mm

As for these particular figures, they're pretty awesome! It's impressive as heck to see them as full, completed armies! Especially the scratch built Ork Dreadnoughts and the oldschool battlewagon. That's some nice work there

Dear Friends. thanks for your comments.
First. the minis are avant-garde miniatures, in their scale of 15 mm. I think they are doing a very good job.
It hurts that the Gamer workshop, has not been able to realize playing on this scale.
Vanguard now has vehicles, has started with leman tanks Russ and Chimeras.
As for the dreadnought orcs, they're built by me, from scratc.

Looks great! Probably the correct scale to play 40k on with all the insanely big units available now

Neat stuff! I wouldn't mind playing at that scale, though I'm not that interested in painting and modeling at 15mm. I like what you've done though.

Hello again friends.
Today I received the order for vanguard miniatures.
I have taken a pleasant surprise. Both leman tanks and chimeras are of a great quality.
This company is doing a good job in 15 mm, I hope they keep adding new vehicles is this scale.

Very nice job so far! Definitely think 15mm is the way to go for platoon-level battles, you can really fit a hell of a lot more on the tabletop.

Cracking job on the scratch builds as well, very impressive!

Damn. We're trying to do 40k in 1/72 ( skinflintgames.wordpress.com/2017/07/19/40k-mashup-8th-ed-meets-rogue-trader-in-172/ ) and you've set the bar very, VERY high. Me gusta!

Side note - this is actually the scale 30k should be in, it'd be perfect for the huge superheavies, massive units and Titans..

How the hell have I missed this company? I've always thought 40k would be great in 15. I would kill to make a 40k 6x4 table in that scale..

Yo quiero saber mas!!

Cool! I used to entertain doing small scale "travel" 40k back in 3rd edition by getting the Epic figs and making armies out of it (along with a table terrain) that would fit in a large hardcover coffee table book's worth of space. I never got past the planning stages though.
