Primarch of the World Eaters: You may re-roll any failed hit rolls during the fight phase for friendly WORLD EATERS within 8” of Angron
The Butchers Nails: If Angron charges, is charged, or preforms a Heroic Intervention, add +1 S and +1 A until the end of the phase. Futher more, friendly WORLD EATERS cannot make fall back moves and do not suffer morale penalties within 8” of Angron.
Favor of Khorne: Angron may attempt to deny two psychic spells a turn. When he does add 2 to the result
Modified Nuceria Slave Plate: Angron has a 4+ Invulnerable save.

I got bored and was guessing how Angron might look if he came out for 8th. Based him off Mortation and Magnus a bit but tried to add his own flavor. What do you guys think?

A few opinions of mine:

Degrading statline: Agree with movement penalty, disagree with degrading weapon skill (No other primarch suffers degrading WS/BS), Interesting effect with increasing attacks profile following up damage.

Butchers Nails: I feel this would be completely different. After Angron has concluded a fight phase, roll a D6. on a 3+, Angron may fight again this phase (this would A: make him a combat monster, fitting fluff. B, bring him in line with mortarion and Magnus with an ability that depreciates as he takes wounds.) This would probably have to be capped at either 3 or 4 fight phases.

Favour of Khorne: I'd see this as a blanket self protect against everything that is taken when a psychic power effects him with a bonus to deny. He cannot choose to voluntarily fail.

Black Sword of Khorne: I would just leave this with the one profile, the modified butchers nails would take care of Hordes.

Other than that, most of this seems pretty much standard. points and power level would definitely be under review though.

A strength 16, AP-4, D6 damage attack that happens 7-9 times, hitting on 2s rerolling. If he charges, it's 18 strength, and 8-10 attacks.

He can deny with a +2 - better than any psyker in the game.

And he moves 18".

Are you serious lol... that is freaking insane.

Honestly looks like a cheaper version of an'ggrath the unbound. Except he has a dash of Skarbrand with the whole he gets more atks when he gets wounded thing

An'ggrath denies 2 powers on a 3+ to the deny. so giving aangron a +2 to his deny is ok. (reminds me of Uraka the Warfiend)

I would say give him something like "blood for the blood god" cause he IS the primarch of the world eaters, so two fight phases. But i find the idea of the butchers nails from the previoud post (3+ for another phase) to be quite nice too

He is pretty quick, An'ggrath only moves 16". The degenerating WS i can see where you got tht, cause Skarbrand and Big Axe BT get degrading WS cause of their crazy Str modifiers (Skarbrand is Str 16, Axe is Str 17)

The AP -4 is par for Khorne greater deamons. So i approve of that.

Also.. i would change the Black sword to have Re roll failed hits (Like slaughter and Carnage from Skarbrand) and probably for every to hit roll of 6 he does he deals a mortal wound instead (I honestly feel like this should of been on all axe of khornes. It just feels right)

I assume this is the daemon version of Angron. If so, he no longer is in possession of the Butcher's Nails. Also, he can fly.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

Angron still has the nails in him. Even when he ascended into a daemon prince. It's stated that the nails are slowly killing him and they coudn't be removed. If you look up old illustrations of him (Second war for armageddon) he still has them in his head

Also. The wings part is pretty standard among khorne daemons (Barring Skarbrand cause of reasons) the thing about his movement on this is that he is actually faster than any of the Bloodthirsters or greater daemons of Khorne, hell he even would outrun khorne specific daemon engines
