While my vision of what each individual Craftworld is like differs from Gav (I prefer mine far more dystopian rather than relatively nice if restrictive places), I wholeheartedly agree with his approach to fluff-writing.
Although he does make a good point in that narrative is perfectly fine (and in many cases preferable)
provided it spins off more juicy potential mysteries than it closes off.
That's certainly something I've come to embrace with the new narratives coming out around
40k. Might be jarring to have change, but provided that the implications for that change set your mind racing about new potential ideas it's absolutely fine
