So I'm rather excited for Necromunda, and I'm thinking about Terrain to get. I've got a few 40k buildings, but they don't seem quite appropriate. Sadly GW isn't reprinting their old terrain. I looked over their current stuff, and none of it seems very appropriate to Necromunda to be honest.

What has everyone else found that works or doesn't work from a gameplay perspective? I'm not really focused on price at the moment, I want stuff that's easily assembled, rugged enough for transport, and will be good for the game.

edit: The GW industrial stuff just seems a bit too large. Does it work ok?

I've been looking at wargames tournaments industrial terrain. It is well priced and one set should be enough, with some homemade scatter terrain of course. The 2nd set is more classic bulkhead Necromunda, but they should both work!

Mantic Games' "Battlezone" kits (in particular the Industrial sets) are great for Necromunda. Mix in some of the Ruins kits, and you have a crumbling industrial complex. Pretty much the Underhive to a T. They say they're snap-fit, but glue them. Also, buy a blister of extra connectors. You won't regret it.

Throw in some of the Reaper Bones dumpsters and shipping crates to gum up line of sight, and you're all good.

The Mantic stuff can be a bit expensive, so look on discounters' websites. I think I got mine from The War Store.

That's how I built the Underhive table I'm working on. Nothing but rave reviews so far from the people who have seen it.

"I have concluded through careful empirical analysis and much thought that somebody is looking out for me, keeping track of what I think about things, forgiving me when I do less than I ought, giving me strength to shoot for more than I think I am capable of. I believe they know everything that I do and think, and they still love me. And I’ve concluded, after careful consideration, that this person keeping score is me." -Adam Savage

I was in on the Deadzone Kickstarter so I have a toolbox full of Battlezones panels. They're 3"x3", same size as old school Necromunda bulkheads, and it's easy to design whatever kind of buildings you'd like.
