As another minor "open-ended" proposal, I propose the following rule:

Tesseract Thrall: Once per game at the start of your movement phase, Trazyn the Infinite may begrudingly sacrifice a piece from his collection to assist in battle (though he insists he's simply "making room" for new trophies). You may immediately place a single non-unique, non-Lord of War Character or Monster from any Codex, paying Reinforcement Points for it as normal. The newly-placed model must be placed entirely within 6" of Trayzn and more than 9" away from any enemy models.

The only side effect of this rule would be more players saying "I choose you!"

Wouldn't this piece effectively be a rogue element on the field? They're not likely to fight for him and are in all honesty probably just as likely to attack Trazyn and his allies as they are the opponents Trazyn is fighting.

Mindshackle Scarabs are a thing, and Trayzn did pretty much do this with *whole* pocket regiments at Fall of Cadia.

Maybe it either has to be the same faction as one of your detachments or you have to spend command points to get it to act?

It would be pointless if it was the first case, since it would mean you could only summon a single Necron character (Necrons don't get any allies), in which case, why didn't you just take that character normally? (You are still paying Reinforcement Points either way).

CPs are an option, but spending them is probably wonky since it means a Stratagem that is not a Stratagem. Having Trayzn subtract from your army's CP for being fielded could be a reasonable compromise, especially since he's not exactly a welcome in many courts due to...misunderstandings over the merits of his collection.

Fair point, They probably wouldn't get any extra buffs beyond that they can give themselves and would probably be without stratagem support.

It's pretty funny and fluffy. I'm on board.
