No Image of the dial, but according to the article all speed 1 and 2 turns are red. Both Aces have abilities that look amazing if you can actually line them up, but without good dial info it's hard to say if they are actually good. Enhanced Cybernetics looks good as far as a 1-point "Critical Turn" card goes.

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.

Aside from the Scyk and the Khiraxz, are there any other ships that trace their origin to that "game"?

It's a weird focus.

So it's another B-Wing, in a meta where B-Wings are essentially absent. Did they give us the Mist Hunter and thought we rejected it because of the aesthetics? I don't know if those bullseye gimmicks would get me to forego firing on a one green die target, even with a TIE swarm. Or maybe especially if I have one.

The H-6 was from it, and I think the Tie Aggressor might be?

Yeah, the TIE Aggressor was originally from Galaxies, though it has appeared in other stuff since (including both FFG's and Wizard's Star Wars RPGs).

I seem to recall the H-6 Scurrg was from Star Wars Starfighter, a console game that came out with Episode I (the game cover had a Naboo fighter).

This one I've never heard of, and I think I've hit the point once I pick up Kylo's fighter, I'm not planning to pick up more for this game. Was going to get the B-17, but now - think I'll pass on it and this one.

First impressions:

Generic: bad. Generic b-wings don't exist in the current meta, and this is just a b-wing with a worse shield/hull ratio and a marginal arc gimmick. The few ships that really care about the special arc are never going to be in it, and the bad dial (red 1/2-speed turns is a strong hint there) is going to be a serious liability compared to a b-wing. Is the reload action enough to make up for all the other disadvantages? No.

Dalan Oberos: questionable at best. Ignore the article, his pilot ability is actually "you can reload and target lock in the same turn" for using ordnance. The problem is, again, the terrible dial. It's great action economy when you're jousting straight ahead and can take advantage of PS 9 (let's be honest here, VI is mandatory), but what do you do when you've lost your shot and have to try to get back into the fight? Getting targets in arc at all with bad-dial jousting ships, and now you need to get it into the tiny special arc to get any benefit from your rather expensive investment. You can't even barrel roll most of the time because you need to spend your action reloading. On the other hand, it's ~30 points for one hell of a jousting shot, so maybe you can make your few good shots hurt enough to make up for the failure everywhere else.

Torani Kulda: again, questionable at best. First of all, the card text is misleading. Like Whisper she's actually PS 10 with no EPT upgrade, because you're never even considering anything but VI here. And her pilot ability might as well be blank. Swarms don't exist in the current meta, so all you're really doing is potentially denying your target their offensive focus (which they can see coming, and take a target lock instead). Sure, sometimes you'll get something out of it, but PS 10 is the key here. PS 10 makes the title much more effective, and gives you a legitimate threat against high-PS ships. The problem is that it starts looking very much like an over-specialized counter. How many people are taking mangler cannon Ten Numb right now? Nobody. Is the scum version really going to be any more effective?

Title: clearly an auto-take. A single point for stress control is way too cheap to give up, even if it is situational. If you're taking a Kimogila you're taking it with the title.

Contraband Cybernetics: just no. Taking multiple stress tokens (one from this card, at least one from whatever forced you to use it) is usually death for a ship, so you're pretty much limited to using this in a "one last turn" kind of situation. And how often are you going to be in a situation where your last turn for a ship definitely needs to k-turn and take actions while already stressed? Most of the time you're going to be better off spending your points on something that wins the game and prevents you from getting into a final-turn situation.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

You are correct, looking at Wookiepedia, that was its first appearance, and it later showed up in Galaxies.

I'm thinking fearlessness on Torani or Dalan could be fun.

And Peregrine if I'm reading it right Contraband Cybernetics actually lets you do a red maneuver without stress. It might be useful to do a red maneuver, then next turn pop the card, reveal a red again, take action, etc. Can't recall right off hand though if there's any scum ships or cards that can stress dump like the Rebels.

Contraband just lets you do things despite being stressed it doesn't stop further stress, its like a one shot Pattern Analyser that allows you to double stress yourself

I just don't like the look of the Kimogila. Just drooling over the starwing really

Cybernetics looks good to me for a point (free on the vaksai). The Kimogila does not. The arc thing is okay but I could add in Ndru for several points less and deliver a more reliable punch.

Loving the look of this, flys like a brick, looks horrible and seems to be pretty middle of the road power wise. Just what scum needed. I wish they had spoiled the dial though so I could try it out on the table straight away. Though both the named pilots could be of use as ordnance platforms I have the feeling the dial will preclude that.

Dial on this is;
1 Red turns, 1 White banks, 1 Green forward.
2 Red turns, 2 Green banks and forward.
3 White turns and banks, green forward.
4 Red K.

PS 5 does have EPT.
Bullseye is that an enemy in it cant spend tokens to modify defence dice.
Jam says that the ship that receives the token chooses one of its focus, evade or blue target locks and removes it.
R5-TK, you can target lock friendly ships and you can attack friendly ships. 0pts.
Scrambler missiles, 2pts. Range 2-3, 3 attack. Attack Target lock, discard this card. If the attack hits then the defender and each other ship at range 1 acquire a jam token and then cancel all results.

So looks like unhinged is going to be stapled onto this ship.
