This was my entry for armies on parade this past weekend, Ynnari forces with lots of Harlequins, battling the Deathwatch. Used Mechanicus terrain but added a 3d printed spire that I designed and printed, and wired it up using an arduino so that it pulsed. Used fishing line for the flyers. The energy beam is acrylic rod.

Ended up splitting the vote so I didn't win a single catagory :-( Too bad there isn't an overall. Any ideas for improvements? What do you guys think?

Thanks! They were a little more visible than I wanted, but the effect still worked. They were a pain in the butt during setup though, I kept knocking in to them as I placed miniatures haha.
