Quick question as I would like to add poison wind mortars to my Pestilen force.

I can add them as reinforcements but if I do so I then can only use the chaos allegiance abilities, correct?

I don’t see a generic skaven one as skryre and Pestilen have their own individual.

Or can i use their individual traits for the main force and reinforcements?

You can add them as allies.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

I don't have the generals handbook infront of me currently, but I believe as the allies rules stand, you are allowed a particular points cost over your over all army, to be from outside.. so, skryer to your pestilince. You do not loose your abilities if you keep to the points allowance.

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!

Likely to run the poison wind mortars and Warpgnaw Verminlord as allies with Chaos army traits.

Good times!

I think that, as long as they are in the "20% of the army points" bracket and are allies you can add them to the army AND keep the Pestilens allegiance abilities.

It's all about the amount of points and alliance keywords. If you play 1600 points of Sylvaneths and add 400 points of Wanderers you still are able to use Sylvaneth allegiance traits. If you put... don't know, 400 points of Kharadrons you lose the Sylvaneth allegiance and have to resort to the Order allegiance.

Hope this helps and I was clear enough.
