Admittedly this blog is starting way after models have been completed but I still have many items to go and so hope that this blog will drive me to complete the project. I have been playing this game on and off since 2002. Over that time I only ever completely painted two armies. My very first Dark Elder and a later Nids' force. When my buddies and I decide to get back into the hobby I made a commitment that I will completely paint whatever army I finally land on.

In my younger days Space Marines were for lames and I made every effort I could to hate them. As I got older being the "good guys" became much more appealing. Imperial guard and their lack of individual worth doesn't really appeal to my senses outside of the Scions. Enter the Grey Knights elite even amongst space marines. Fantastic models (outside of the baby carrier), good more even if a bit unknown and mysterious. Psykers to the max so pure in mind and spirit even those who detest psykers will fight alongside them.

All that being said my force currently consists of the following models.

Completed
- Voldus
- Apothecary
- Doomglaive (Custodes Contemptor)
- 13x Paladin
- Imperial Knight Errant

In Progress
- Eversor

Awaiting Assembly
- Draigo
- Culexus
- Limited Edition Chaplain
- Space Hulk Librarian
- Paladin Ancient

I will add better photos tonight but wanted to get this started.

Imgur Link for the time being!

EDIT: Ended up rebasing the entire force that has been completed thus far. I felt like the units were kind of getting lost on the dark bases with snow. I think it was because I had a greyish black tone which blended with the armor.

Swapped them to earthy tone bases and I think they look much better for it. Picked up some Dullcote last night to knock down the shine from the previous varnish will hopefully get that done tonight as well as getting Draigo, Chaplain and Anceint primed for paint.

Also starting to build a Knight Errant.

Added a picture of new bases.

Getting ready to add these 3 to my force. Hoping to get them primed tonight and get them painted up. Hoping I can get through them pretty quick as it's mostly black with highlights. We will see.

Also finishing up another project that I will reveal when I post the entire force.

Added another piece to the army. He's almost complete just a few little things left to do. Plan on setting up an Icarus AC for him since it's the only carapace weapon I have available.

Also started working on my Eversor. Hope to get pictures soon. Plan is to complete Draigo once the Eversor is complete.

I like them. Best of luck getting everything done. I will be honest and say that I have NEVER completely painted an army, however that being said, it's cause I never finish adding to an army so there's always something that needs to be painted for all of my armies.

...Or I could just be trying to justify my extensive backlog of not only unassembled models, but entirely unopened boxes....

Haha. That used to be me. I think getting older (32) AMD having 2 kids has made me become more focused and dedicated to my projects.

Admittedly the pictures are bad, going build a cheapo light box to get some better pictures.

Eversor assassin next on the docket. Did most of the red just need to glaze it. Got the basecoat down on the browns and tans as well as some of the metallics.
