Anyone recommend a good third party parts seller or such other source where I might find some good Halo inspired bits for 40k/Infinity sized models? Most specifically looking for a covenant plasma pistol and that energy sword.

There were Halo Heroclix minis at one time. Presumably, some of them were armed with those weapons. Try eBay?

If you're thinking of Halo: Ground Assault it has sadly been discontinued after the closure of Spartan games and was anyway based on 15mm figures.

No, he’s thinking of Halo Actionclix. 30mm, pre-printed, randomly-packaged minis based on Halo 2. OOP for at least a decade, but EBay will be your friend.

There was also a toy line that did Halo 3 toys at the right scale. I actually used their Warthogs as Imperial Guard Tauros Vernerators with minimal converting and a repaint. Avaialble through Wal Mart at the time, but probably need to hit ebay now.

Ah yea I see, some of those models look like a pretty sound basis for conversions.

On a side note, I've been picking up the Halo "LEGO" figures for use in a TT game. At the least, the weapons in those packs could probably be converted for use on metal minis.

It never ends well

That's a shame. I was really looking forward to those. Hopefully, someone else picks up that IP.

Anvil Industry has some fantastic Sci Fi soldiers in their Afterlife range.

The Unity Council Marines in particular look a little like UNSC marines.
