Thanks for the rep! I felt bad for the imperial army, he had no response to the big chicken (also, he should have unloaded into the chicken instead of the pod....) Good game tho!

Agreed.
Kharybdis just does not seem to present the same threat in 8th edition as it did in 7th. Has a nasty close combat attack particularly effective against high wound models. I think people that haven't played against it previously, just see a big model and perceive it as a threat and go for it. But, that really was its purpose - to run interference.
We'll experiment with three birds in our next BatRep - Cyclops, LoC and Kairos. Triple threat. We'll see how Imperium deals with them.

Yeah, Big = Scary usually. I'm new to 8th, but I know that the chickens = doom, and magnus = doom more than any machine chaos has. I love fateweaver and LoC, they're my favorite daemon models, can't wait!
