Hey there, i saw the Promethium Refinery and im trying to figure out what exactly is inside of it and what the total savings would be. I know it lists off whats inside, but im trying to find out the box for box equivalents. I dont have any of the new sector mechanicus terrain so im unfamiliar with the contents of each box. So far ive come up with a ferratonic furnice and alchomite stack which comes up to (60+60) 120, and im assuming youre paying another 20 (140 in total, canadian) for walkways and giant servo skull lifters?

So just looking for any help or if anyone knows anything about the set. Thanks

All in all, there are 3 differnt sprues for walkway/platforms, 1 for support struts and 3 for structures.

Existing kits:
Alchomite Stack, 2 sprues, 40 €
Feratonic Furnace, 2 sprues, 40 €
Promethium Forge, 4 spriues, 60 €
Galvanic Magnavent, 4 spriues, 60 €
Feratonic Incinerator, 4 sprues, 45€
Promethium Refinery, 8 sprues, 90 €

Getting exactly the same content as in the refinery is not possible with other kits and getting the same number of sprues would be more expensive in most cases. The refinery has every sprue (except straight walkways) at least once, so I would definetly recommend it to anyone interested in Sector Mechanicus terrain, couple with the Feratonic Incinerator as this is the other kit with the best money per sprue ratio.

This maybe one of the worst kits for a modeller exactly because it doesn't contain any straight walkways, the things we've been after since Shadow War came out. GW needs to release a "Walkways" box especially with Necromunda: Gang War being released

Agreed, I'm chuffed to get one, but the lack of extra straight walkways does hurt, as I want to hook it up to the rest of my terrain.

I'm sure that's coming along with half-height platforms and stairs sooner or later. But honestly, for the price of a single impressive Sector Mechanicus structure you can cover the whole board in MDF, so...
