I'm taking part in a slow grow league and need to get together and paint a 500 point space marine army. Thought I would do it here as a blog to show work in progress as and when I can update and also pictures from the league itself. So I need to find out a 500 point list that's gonna be slightly competitive. Any thoughts from all you out there? Was thinking a librarian with lots of scouts maybe??

Slow Grow Campaign got called - The Annihilation of Triplex Phall. there are 7 other players. Idea that all armies consist of two factions even if cant normally ally with each other and you build up each month. This month started at 500 points and had a HQ and Troop Compulsary. Went for Imperial Faction and have started playing the first Games. Im actually losing. LOL. i did join later than most and chose a pants list to start. didnt really think about playing but just thought looked fun.

HQ- Inquisitor Ordro Xenos. With master crafted condemnor boltgun and nemesis Force Hammer
Troops- 5 Sniper Scouts
Elites - Callidus
Culexus
Vindicare
Heavy support - Whirlwind.
