When it says Sgts may take replace their normal gear for items, plural, from the Sgt Weapon list, there are two Sgt selection lists. First one says you may take two items from that list, the other says only one item can be taken. Do you need to pick which list you use or can you take 2 items from one list and another from the single selection list for a total of 3?

If you can take two items you can take two items.

There's a list of which you can only choose one from. So that tells you the second must be from the other list. Or you can take nothing from the 'one only' list and two from the other list. M

However you do it, 1+1 cannot equal 3.

We need a specific unit because it varies from unit to unit.
