So, we all know the Maelific lords are stupidly OP. Horrors got nerfed and Rubrics are pre-nerfed. What's the best way to shoot out mortal wounds now for non-HQ?

Maybe Zoans? 160 pts for 4, does 2d3 mortal wounds per smite? Though once they lose a model they go down to d3.

Whot? Is not zoans 160 points?

Also, the 4 and 5 model squad can cast 2 psykick powers. 6 smite 1d3 pluss a flatt 3. That is not so bad. But the sweet spot is 4, perhaps 5 to discourage lascannons smiting. 3 extra wounds with 3++ is discouraging.

The zoans smite is also 24" witch is good.

Honerable mention the neuronthrope. It can only cast smite the one time, but it can cast 2 psykick powers for 70 points. 3++ and character. Also re-rolls 1 for cast, also does so for zoans close by.

Probably Admech.

Their entire codex is dripping with mortal wounds.

You can spam them fairly well without relying on Psykers, too.

It's the one build for AdMech that works.

No idea why I had them as 41 in my excel sheet. Must have been a typo since I use the numpad.

My Eldar list has been doing amazingly well with five Spiritseers+1 Psychic Plane taking the entire Runes of Battle discipline.

Each and every power is good, and as a bonus, you've got a solid core of Smitespam to deal damage.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

The usual suspects is mawlock, biovore and the charging carnifex.
