It says everyone knows the power smite, but in matched play games you can only use a power once. Also, someone who can cast one power wither chooses smite or another spell you choose, correct?

So there is no such thing as smite spam correct?

Psychic Focus, the rule that restricts you to one attempt at each power per turn in matched play, specifically says it doesn't apply to Smite. Each psyker can only attempt Smite once per turn though, like with any other power.

Yes, smite spam is VERY much a thing, it's the only reason Grey Knights can ever win a game.

Smite is explicitly permitted to be used more than once a turn in matched play.

smite 1 cast for every psyker/caster you got y the army (unless special rules allowed you to do more)

all other power 1 per round
