There is going to be a small 500pts tournament at my local club. I wanted to make a force of one of each assassin for fun. But im not sure which HQ I should bring, do you have any suggestions?

Primaris Psychers. Cheap. Useful.

Either a couple primaris psychers or St. Celestine.

An Inquisitor would be fluffy but sub-optimal. Maybe use a Primaris Librarian.

Celestine would also be a good option.

Now with six models, three of them will be allowed to "Deep strike". So Im thinking of letting the Callidus and both Eversors do that. Have the Culexus stay infront of the Librarian to protect him, since when targeting a Culexus the attacker always count as WS/BS 6+. And of course leave the Vinicare behind to snipe stuff.

Any thoughts, do you think it could work?

Or go for some tooled up Inquisitor as well. That is fluffy and fun.

Definately a smiting Inquisitor, possibly with a Meltagun, and have him hide behind the Culexus smiting away at anything that gets close.

Plus Dominate is good for the Lolz.

I would bring a Librarian. There seems to be a lot of synergy with a Culexus Assassin and Psykers on the same team, and I am making a list now to try that out but haven't yet. Since Marines are short on good librarians I'd find a way to work in Tiguris, as I think he's the only Marine option that has the most important ability, reroll failed psychic tests, and he's not all that expensive. Might be someone in the Grey Knights list who fits that bill too but my memory is fuzzy.

If you get a chance to use it please let me know how it works out. Although I have to admit Celestine is also a pretty good option. That lady is mean enough on her own but instantly respawning at death makes her crazy awesome.
