Welcome to my K-'47 Hobby Blog, a weird-WW II system from Warlord Games.

German forces invigorated by the alien technology are up first on the work desk.

This is a W.I.P. of the Totenkorps, which are reanimated corpses sent to terrorize the battlefields and slaughter those engaged in melee combat.

Applied here are GW and Army Painter colors, starting with a Wolf Grey spray over a thin coat of black primer.

The wash used to attain the skin effect is a rather revoltingly titled release known as, "Baby Poop" from Secret Weapon Miniatures. This excellent, versatile shade works well with different base coats, producing unique undead skin and the like. I gave it a go over two green layers and find it suitable to the Nazi Zombie horde. Here's how to spot it should you want to acquire a bottle:

Any and all constructive feedback on my painting approach, and the Konflikt '47 hobby in general, is welcomed.

Cheers and thanks for viewing.

Greetings.

Totenkorps Zombies x 8 finished -- bodies only, the basing is next.

Here's a pic of a few:

Minimal highlights (mostly leather and helmets) for sake of speed, as an effective unit requires me to paint 4 more in the near future.

I'll post a few shots of the bases when complete.

Thanks for viewing.

Greetings all,

In my flurry of assembly and primering while the weather is good, I forgot to post my completed Totenkorps.

Here's a few pics:

and the batch:

and finally with the tufts for the basing to finish them off.

I'll be doing four more soon, to round out a unit of 12 -- it's a pity the starter box does not come with a number easily fielded to effectiveness.

Regardless, there you have them and all comments and observation welcomed. I'll apply your tips and suggestions to the next lot.

Thanks for viewing,

My light Spinne now has a hatch conversion, since I didn't care much for the pilot. While Japan will be my main focus soon for K-47, I am going to enjoy rounding out some Germans as well.
