so i want to paint my dark eldar razorwing on which i have to do a lot of edge highlighting so can i just mask the edges of to get clean and straight result?

I imagine you could. But the work to do edge highlighting properly with taping seems like it would be a lot worse than just learning the brush control to do it by hand.

For the time it will take you, it just won't be worth it. You are far better spending that time practicing the method and improving your ability. It will be worth the input.

Maybe you could use masking tape to produce really long, completely straight edge highlights. The Razorwing Jetfighter is too curvy and the edges too short for it to be practical, as is the case with everything Dark Eldar have.
