I can't decide whether or not to make a pure Dark Eldar list, or cut the Archons and Kabalites for Harlequins. I kind of think the second list looks stronger, but it's hard moving away from pure DE. I somehow think maybe the pure DE list could use work though. I've come up with two lists and need help deciding (other critiques also welcome)

I'm leaning toward the second list, though I do really enjoy the pure Dark Eldar feel. The second list still has 35 free points and I'm not sure where to put them.

I like your first list, but I'm partial to pure DE.

I play with a very similar list, but use smaller units of truebloods (5 model units) to load onto the boats with the blasters/lances available), but always have issues with hordes.

I typically sacrifice using the battalion detachment and skip using standard troops and take on more elites with (vanguard attachment--I can't remember it right now).

With less troop requirements I use mandrakes as a distraction unit.
