I have a 2000pt list that I want someone to review. It's supposed to be as versatile as possible. The regiment I was thinking of using is Tallarn.

Why don't you have any regiments selected? I'd put tallarn on the first so that those sentinels can do more than turret work. The others are more a matter of preference, if you ask me.

Lascannon heavy weapons teams will get taken down very quickly, and you've got a good amount of AT, so I'd swap them to mortar teams. You'd still save 12 points by turning that 1 squad of lascannons into 2 squads of mortars, and it'd help a lot on hordes.

You've got 19 points available. that's a lot. And the lord commissar is often detrimental since the FAQ, forcing a reroll on morale at the cost of 1 guardsman.

What's the tempestor prime doing? Without a scion command squad, I think you could accomplish pretty much the same thing with a company commander. Or you could give yourself a Primaris psyker (you're really short on Deny the Witch rolls... culexus assassin would be a solid addition to your army as well.)

finally, you should be able to rearrange this list to get yourself a Brigade pretty easily, which would be a big help to your CP.

IMO grenade launchers aren't worth the price, I'd drop them and your voxes to put lascannons in each infantry squad.

Maybe swap armored sentinels to scouts for some outflanking goodness. I also don't know if the chainsaws are worth it.

Not really a fan of plasma on company commanders due to the chance of self-immolation.

Looks like a good balanced list though, kudos.

I don't think that patrol detatchment is legal with only 1 elite slot in it.

drop the telepathica stave from the astropath, you're going to die in melee anyway.

armored -> scouts would actually be pretty good to provide those 9" no deep strike bubbles, Sentinel chainsaws are definitely not worth the 2pts, just to add a -1 AP to a unit you're not trying to get up close with. probably wouldn't even put them on catachan heavy flamer sentinels.

I don't know, I think grenade launchers are pretty solid for 5pts.

you can definitely get by without vox, but since you only have 1 company commander (only 2 infantry orders/turn in your army) I'd say it's a good chance to shave some points.

master of ordinance just for 1 basilisk and the barrage is questionable.

agreed on dropping the plasma on the CC.

swapping one of the Russ to a Punisher could be big for taking down more of those screen units everyone runs. Maybe even adding in another punisher after some other changes would be great. Tallarn LRBTs are pretty nasty with their tank order letting them abuse LOS or close the gaps quickly and still get the 2x main cannon shot from grinding advance.
