How do I beat this tau list?

Coldstar - missile pod, high output burst cannon, ATS, drone controller, warlord
6 Fusion commanders - 4 fusion blasters each, four of them have 2 gun drones
Ethereal - hoverdrone, 2 shield drones
Fireblade - markerlight
6 Drone squads - 9 gun drones, 2 shields drones, and 1 marker drone in each squad
2 Squads of 4 vespid

All told it's 7 commanders and 82 drones -.-

Essentially the army forms up into a big deathball so all drone units get the drone controller and Ld 10 from the ethereal and coldstar. The fireblade makes it so they can all also fire 6 shots each at 9". The fusion commanders and vespid generally deepstrike.

Thoughts? Help??

It would be helpful to know what army you play as Guard, Eldar armies in general, Alpha Legion and Tyranids will all find this list adorable and roll over it without any problems.

I have a large amount of guard and chaos -- how would alpha legion (or tyrannids) roll over this list?

Pretty much anything I've tried to charge in dies in overwatch as everything is going to be able to use "for the greater good".

I collect tau, guard and tyranids, and I recommend with all of these to get lots of cheap infantry bubblewrapping bigger units and so denying deep strikes. Works well for guard with lots of artillery, or tyranids with exocrine. Also, imperium could field eversor assassin for some mayhem.

Bulk anti infantry shooting. Burst/Shuriken cannons, Tyrannofex with fleshborer hive and a swarmlord to let it move outside of movement phase. Anti DS strategems if they don't put all the commanders on the field, really just having a codex should save you. Or play against people that don't rely on exploiting the only two OP things in our index.

S5/6 units will also be good in that the enemy won't be wounding on 2. Any -1 hit modifiers will be incredibly useful, shooting at long range will be useful as the opponent only has 18" weapons.

Fire warriors and a team of pathfinders for the accelerator drone will get you some S5 36" shots for fairly cheap.
