Alright, I’ve played around 10 AoS games since its inception, some with my dad and some with a friend who is just starting into the hobby. We used the four page rule book and the free army PDFs from the original launch. My friend and I are starting to get more serious about the game, building a table, weekly hobby nights, etc. etc. so I was wondering, what are the warscrolls, has there been an updated edition of the rules, and I’ve seen mentions of points elsewhere on the forums and was curious where to find those. Thank you all for your time.

The basic rules are still the same. There is a layer with a couple extra rules (mostly for listbuilding and summoning) For that, you want the Generals handbook 2017 for pts and matched play rules.
The easiest way to get the latest version warscroll is on the Age of Sigmar app. or on the GW site.

You can get the points off their community site and use it for list building.

Forgot about that site. Thanks for the link Baron Klatz.
Not much more I can add that csb999 didn't say. Get the AoS app. If you pay for the $1.99 month on it, you also get the army builder in the app as well, I think. Been so long I forget. I took a break and coming back now. Will have to do that. I done it on the iPad version, not sure if different from other versions. Hopefully someone can explain better than me.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?
Auticus wrote: Or in summation: its ok to exploit shoddy points because those are rules and gamers exist to find rules loopholes (they are still "legal"), but if the same force can be composed without structure, it emotionally feels "wrong". |
