Here is a custom Chapter Master for my Chaos Space Marine Renegades, just wanted any thoughts or input. I think the points may be a little high (which is fine as he's just a custom unit for narrative games really).

Spoiler:

And the angry gentleman himself.

Spoiler:

Do you guys see anything broken or awful which would make this guy unfun or unfair to play against every now and then?

In My Lab

Looks good. Question, though-how did you make the stats look so dinger-dang good?

Actually, looking at it again... Why 7 wounds?

Clocks for the clockmaker! Cogs for the cog throne!

The seven wounds came from using the Marneus Calgar entry as a base. I debated changing it to six since I decided my guy was not in Terminator armour but simple awesome Artificer armour of some sort.

But then I used some terminator legs and it turns out he's huge, so I left the seven in there. He's a good head taller than a normal Space Marine, but I'm not sure if it's justified.

I probably should have used a non-Terminator chapter master as a base.

PS: The seven wounds and his ability to generate even more attacks with DFE are why I've limited his default Warlord Trait to the rather "meh" Hatred Incarnate. I didn't want him to end up with eight wounds, or indeed rolling a bajillion dice becoming '6's and doing a half dozen mortal wounds in a single turn, etc.

What Legion trait would The Wandering Sons have?

I use the bog standard "Renegades" one, so they may charge and advance.

Makes sense. He is a Renegade after all...

Lose the 7th wound and it honestly doesn't seem too bad to me I approve.

Also what's the particular fluff behind Unwilling Puppet?

Does 170 seem appropriate or high if I reduce him to 6 wounds?

You could bump him down to 150-155
