So, here's a batrep for a game I played a while back. Both of us were still fairly new to 8th ed, so rules errors and tactical mistakes aplenty.

Criticisms and comments, as always, are welcome.

Enjoyed the report. Hopefully someone will get a chance to rescue to poor priest before it is too late.

Good stuff LoNC, and good to hear from you! I have fond memories of your lizard reports way back when

Here's hoping. I doubt he'll be able to get adequate room service from the Orks.

Yeah, I kinda fell out of Fantasy near the tail end of 8th ed, and I still have yet to touch Age of Sigmar. Maybe I'll give it a whirl one of these days, although "the Chronicle's of LoNC's Seraphon" doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

That was a great battle report! I encourage you to play more and write more. I had a lot of fun reading it and I'm glad I'm not the only one that randomly names their models should they do something heroic (or the opposite, for that matter).

Cool and easy to read batrep, kudos for your choice of format and narrative style. I'll save the critique's and comments as you said you were new to 8th and have clearly realized your mistakes. I've been inspired to add some SoB to my Marine lineups just so I can use a lot more FIRE!! I'm going to title it Saints and Salamanders, so keep an eye out because your why I'm making it.

Too bad you lost, but damn, how many Wounds does that Stompa have? Seemed like you did over 30 to it over the course of the battle and still it kept on Stompin.

"The Ultramarines are here to save us!"

"Those are the Sons of Orar."

"O R they!"
