I just bought a new Agrellan Earth. This is my third pot. The first two had identical shades. This new one is considerably darker. It is extremely noticeable, and would require an complete rebasing of everything already done if this new one is the future. Anyone any idea if this is a rogue instance, or if Agrellan earth does significantly vary in shade (to a degree that I cannot remember any other GW paint doing) or if future instances of the paint will be darker?

Is it the newer version Agrellan Badland? That's my only guess for you. If that's not it, it's possible that they changed its coloration, but I'd go and check it out against another pot at the store to be sure

This is Agrellan Earth rather than Agrellan Badlands. All three of my Agrellan Earths (and my Agrellan Badlands) are in the large rather than small pots, if that is what you mean by new. But yeah, I think visiting the store is probably best.

Yeah, I forgot to stick an "or" in there, and I was indeed referring to the larger pots vs the older smaller ones. I still have the same pot of astrogranite I bought like 3-4 years ago, and once they came out with the newer mix, I got one of the "astrogranite debris", and didn't notice any appreciable difference in the coloration
