I came across these guys and decided to pre-order the new Necromunda game from them on the 11th of November. After ordering, I received several automated emails from them, the last providing a link where I could track the progress of my package. Sometime on the 27th, I see the page is updated with a note, "Your shipment is confirmed. We've accepted your order, and we're getting it ready. Come back to this page for updates on your shipment status." and a tracking number.

Now normally I wouldn't sweat things but the game has been out a week and I just went to check the tracking number and got this message back from UPS, ">>> The number you entered is not a valid tracking number (e.g. typical format is 1Z9999999999999999). Review the number provided or contact the sender to verify the number." Um... not good.

I did what anyone would do and sent off an email to the address they provided, asking about the order, but have not heard anything back. I'm not at the point where I'm ready to spaz out or anything. People make mistakes and the package might well be on its way. Or not. The point is, I don't know what's going on and this shop isn't replying to my email. So, before I begin reviewing my options, I was wondering if anyone else had ordered from these guys and what the experience was like? Are they usually good at filling orders? Or are they more on the flaky side of things?

Thanks.

UPDATE:

Well, I actually have some new information, not from AOH of course, rather it is UPS that gave me the info.

UPS sent me an email informing me that the package might not reach me by the scheduled date. From this email I learned that someone at AOH wrote the tracking number incorrectly (substituted a letter "o" for a zero) which is why I couldn't look it up. No worries, I figured human error entered into it somehow. I also learned that the package is in transit and will arrive sometime next week.

So, all is copasetic at least for the moment. I am still disappointed that it was UPS and not AOH which gave me all the information I was looking for and even then that email was sent only because of potential bad weather.

Communication with these guys is non-existent so I think I'll order from elsewhere in the future.
