I’m looking for a game of 8th edition 40k this weekend. Either Saturday the 9th or Sunday the 10th. Located off 73 within 20 minutes of philly. We can play at the store of your choice.

I have currently roughly 1250 points built of Renegade and Heretics and Death Guard. I am not a competitive gamer. The points are pre malefic lord nerf so probably around 1400 points now. I may be building more this week. I’m about half painted for renegade and Heretics. Not even started on my deathguard.

Very new player. Coming back from 5th edition.

There are a ton of facebook groups for that area. I know Top Deck Games has some 40k going on in 15 minutes from you. Were you from the GW Voorhees crowd?

I no longer live near there

Yes I was. I have since kinda died out. Switched to malifaux and took a job where I’ve been traveling the past 6 months.

I probably know you, I quit during late 5th edition as well. I 100% know you - I just noticed your south jersey post about Mike D.

They opened a GW in Jenkintown which is a hike to get to (I live over in PA). I'd hit up Joe Miles - I think he runs local escalation leagues and Necromunda. I know Guildball has a following. North NJ/NY has a larger Warmachine following. AoS is fairly strong in PA oddly enough

I barely play now but we might bump into each other

Probably do. Though I’ve changed quite a bit. I can’t do escalation or anything like that as my job is 75% travel. It’s the reason I’m back to 40k. I figure it’s the easiest way for me to get a game in my travels ( for example I’m going to Illinois Monday and then NY the 18th then Alabama the 26th).

I’ll hit up joe. Last time I talked to him was years ago. Our groups kinda had a falling out. Since then I’ve fallen out with that group and have kinda been in limbo with my job.

New player in South Jersey, just getting started. Question: which store is the best prices? Ideally under GW's online price.

My friend got a spray can from Top Deck and it was 20 even though GW sells it for 15....

For terrain/hobby http://www.aaahobbiesandcrafts.com/

In terms of stores, the I go to Top Deck for glue/paint/restock of quick things I need. They have sales occasionally on some boxed sets and they've never been out of stock of most GW or PP box sets (blisters is a gamble)

Few stores closed down in the past 2~ years so I tend to head over to PA for showcase comics / GW jenkin / Red caps.

Pricewise tho you'd say they are all relatively the same?
