Hey Guys,

I am just coming back to warhammer 40k with my bugs. I have not played competitively since 5th edition. I am trying to put together an ''all comers'' list for Tyranids that can deal with the current meta while at the same time not being too much of a lopsided or scew list. I tried to take some notes on what people have been finding success with in the Tyranid tactica but also asked about the lists used by top players like Nick Navanti at the Portal GT. It seems that having Swarmlord is invaluable vs Guard as getting the early unit of genestealers in can be clutch.

Two things I have had to balance is that with the Lictor being sent back to the bits box thanks to the FAQ genestealers have lost a very useful toolkit and also the Malanethrope going up a significant amount makes it harder to squeeze in.

This is what I'm toying with atm and cc or feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Wouldn't worry about cp rerolls. I mean when you have 6 hive guard ready to go in 1 sexy orgy you just gotta use the strat to shoot again. I've seen 3 murder... But 6... Make sure to do a battle report.

Looks good, i would drop the tyrant guard. Their should be enough LoS blocking terrain if its an ITC mission. Take a unit of hormies.

Honestly I don't like any of your heavy support options and the malanthrope is kind of easy to skip over for it's point cost now.

I'd drop the malathrope/exocrine/ and biovores and take a trygon and 6 more hive gaurds - fill out the rest of your points on hormies

Exo are really good and fair hard to kill. Biovores are almost a auto include for at lest 3. He can stop most movement by just moving them and getting spores. Allows for a lot of board control.

What good is the trygon for? With the Kracken Hive Fleet rules and a swarmlord. He can reliable get both Stealer units in to combat Turn one. One unit for sure.

I would think about dropping one unit of Biovores to get a couple more units of rippers. They will help with ITC recon and behind enemy lines secondary.

I like the list and it covers a lot of base's. Good Luck
