Hello all,
I have a tournament coming up that is 1,000 pts random partners tournament (2v2), and I really want to bring my blood angels with the new codex.
I think this should do really well, but does anyone have any ideas how i could improve this?

Battalion - 3 CP

Captain - Jump Pack (relic JP), Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield
Librarian - Force Sword, Jump Pack

Troops-
Intercessor Squad- Grenade Launcher, Chain sword Sgt.
Tactical Squad - 5 man squad with Missile Launcher, storm bolter
Tactical Squad - 5 man squad with Missile Launcher, storm bolter

10x Death Company with Jump Packs, 2x Thunder Hammers, 8x Bolter/Chainsword

Razorback w/ twin Lascannon and Storm Bolter
Razorback w/ twin Lascannon and Storm Bolter

Total- 996 pts

I currently dont have heavy flamers, but i have plenty of every other heavy weapon that i could give the tactical squad. Are the las cannon needed, or should i give them something else to be a little more flexible?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful!

Dumb suggestion, but I think you can give the tac sergeants storm bolters?

Other than that, 3 hammers, 6 lascannons at 1000 should do pretty well!

Maybe replace one lascannon with a rocket launcher, to take advantage of the anti flyer stratagem where you hit units with the FLY keyword on 2+ (if you didnt move) and cause D3 mortal wounds. You have a lot of anti vehicle guns. Maybe replace one twin lascannon with a twin assault cannon against hordes ? You can replace the bolt pistols on DC with boltguns for free, doubling the number of shots when you deepstrike.

All good points. I don't have a spare set of assault cannons right now for the razorback, but I think what Ill do is swap the lascannons in the tac squads for missile launchers, give the Sargeants in the tac squads storm bolters, and give all the DC bolters.
Thank you both for the suggestions, list updated!

Well, in a 2v2 tournament format I think it will not be necessary to play a well-rounded army even if you dont know your partner in advance.
I'm naughty and suggest to play a large DC unit with hammers and whatnot.

I currently have 15 death co equipped with 3 hammers and 3 fists to work with. The captain with the relic pack and hammer is an absolute must for me, he's such a monster given black rage and either the warlord trait for +1 to his FnP or artisan of war, and so that unit plus the captain puts me at 513 pts. If I'm throwing all my command points into that unit to get them where I need them, how would you suggest building around it? I feel if I'm throwing all my eggs into a death co basket, lemartes is also a must. Do i just fill the rest of the list with intercessors and call it a day?

Indeed, I'd take the DC, Captain, and Lemartes.
Fill the rest with shooty support units, like Razorbacks with assault cannons and/or Predators with lascannons.
Leave the rest to your partner. This gives your dual play a better tactical alignment. This is my experience from 2v2 tourneys.
