I'm really excited to share my current army project! I've been working on selecting and acquiring custom bits to build a dream army. I have always been highly upset that a box of marines came with a hodgepodge of different armor types... but, I wanted order and a real chapter presence. Every power armor guy (and primaris) has the same shoulder pad on their left arm.

So, I started collecting bits, starting with corvus heads.
Here are my some tactical marines, I've made 20 with the same parts.
Sternguard Beak with Imperialis, Dark Angel Command head for sergeant.
Mk3 body
Devastator Legs
FW Missile Launcher Kit Backpack

I've always been a fan of power mauls, jumppacks, and stormshields... So I made these guys as icons of my chapters speciality

Chapter Master

Command Squad (Backpacks in mail)

I'm very excited to get this project put together, as I have been collecting the bits for 3+ years.

How many guys can you put together with the bits you gathered? I've needed to get old 3rd edition kits just to get enough "regular" bodyparts for my desires(I don't like the current basic marines' strap-covered torsos and quantity of iconography). I think I've got two or three beak heads that I don't want to use.

While the photos are pretty crap, it's enough to see what you're going for, and it's looking good. Everyone being the same has that sort of faceless intimidation, which normal SM always lacks. Same way the Death Korps works I think.

Good job, and I look forward to seeing some paint going on. What are your plans for colour?

Looking good so far.

And respect for waiting rather than dabbling and then wandering off to other projects as so many of us do

Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.
