I'm thinking of adding Zhufor to my World Eaters. He has both the Skulltakers and World Eaters key words as of the most recent FW FAQ. However, he only buffs Skulltakers, not World Eaters. That being said, if I run him and all Skulltakers, my Legion trait would be considered the renegade one correct as it's not a named Legion? Alternatively, I can run him as a World Eater but he doesn't provide the reroll of 1s to hit because that's only Skulltakers and the legion keyword would be World Eaters at that point. Just checking if I'm reading all it correctly.

If you pick your <LEGION> as SKULLTAKERS, you will have to take the Renegade Chapters trait. Unlike the Loyal Bois, the Spyky Bois don't have the ability for "successors" to use their parent legion's trait. Classic FW writing at it's best. They probably assumed Heretic Astartes would work the same as Adeptus Astartes.

So you have to pick, do you want the WE trait and no re-rolls, or the Renegade Trait and re-rolls?

This is what I figured. Honestly they both aren't terrible really. I could try it because my Alternative is just taking Kharn instead.
