When you active a fighter you can face him in any direction.

You need arc vision to shoot or to fight.

But, Do you need arc vision to move? and to charge?

Charge, yes - I think.

Move? Absolutely not.

My read of the rules would agree with the good Doc, you need to be facing the direction you are charging, because you want to fight face to face (unless you're suicidally overconfident).

But walking backwards so you can fire off a shot, or retreating in a way that doesn't expose your back (more relevant for Goliath gangers), seems appropriate.

And, you need to be able to see the person you're charging - so no charging folk round blind bends, on account you don't know they're there.

Even if you did need to walk forwards, turning doesn't cost anything; mechanically there's no difference between a model moving backwards and it turning round, moving forwards and then turning round again.

*DO* you need to see them though? I mean, it doesnt seem to say you have to nominate the target of your charge... it seems common sense, but... GW sometimes lacks that a bit... <.<

No. A charge is a Standard move +D3" that may end within 1" of an enemy, and if you do, you move into base to base. Nothing else.

Where does it say that in the rules? We couldn't find it.

You don´t need to see the target for the charge:
Necromunda Underhive, Actions: Charge (Double), p.46.

People might be confused with the actual close combat rules. Your intended target, with whom you are already engaged in cc, must be in your vision arc in order to attack him/her. Though you can turn around to have him/her in your LOS.
Necromunda Underhive, Close Combat: Declare Targets, p.50.
