I've watched Ash's bat-rep (and its Gaming w/the Cooler counterpart), and it looks like a really fun mash-up/tribute to Mordheim and Necromunda. I ordered the book, and see a supplement coming in January apparently adds base-build, more level-up skill tables, etc... all of which I appreciate in my RPG-lite skirmish games.

We own an obscene amount of Shadows of Brimstone, so model options will not be a concern, but I would love to hear more impressions from anyone here who has played and like/dislikes the game after the experience.

I believe it is not actually released until mid-January or so.

However, i think there is a facebook page where people have been playtesting.

I, too, saw Ash's video and am interested. Haven't played (or bought) yet, but I've got a mess of Wild West Exodus figures I can totally use for this. Looked like a reasonably fun little system.

One thing I like about game's like this, and part of why Frostgrave always saw play here, is a steady stream of released content to bulk out the campaign/options.

This game already has two supplement books with release dates... and I dig that.

Plus, more almost Mordheim/Necromunda games always make me happy.

Oh, for anyone who reads this, and is curious, the book is on deep discount on Amazon right now. The full rules are $10 on Amazon digitally, and $20 for the hardcover.

Amazon book is tempting... do official figures / warbands exist yet? At work so my search - fu is limited.

Northstar does indeed have official, and reasonably priced starting crews and a few extras.

I've been playing the game all weekend, and will write my full thoughts shortly. Short version, it is a very fun, very rules light game that does a couple clever/unique things, but mostly just is enjoyable. It won't dethrone This is Not a Test, as my favorite Notcromunda, but its good, and expansions will probably do wonders for it very soon.
