I got a brand new Start Collecting! Craftworlds along with a pack of Windriders and I think how to upgrade it to a standalone army about 2000 pts for a start.
Iyanden is what I aim for, which means Wraith-constructs.

That is what I have come up with for now, with no further ideas how to fill that up. What to add, what to drop, what to change?

You have some good units to work with. The big thing to do is to get some games in and feel out how the units work. The one thing you may want to consider is running one of your Wraithguard units with Wraithcannons for some variety. That will give the Spiritseers a bit more purpose and they are fantastic for cracking armored vehicles down. I personally really like Farseers on Jetbikes simply because you can get them where the buffs are needed.

And what about Wraithlord and War Walker - two units from Start Collecting! box which I didin't put on the list. Are they worth to put in the army, or rather best suited to paint and leave on display?

I was more likely thinking about two Warlocks on Jetbikes - cheaper and more expendable, I am pretty certain that I want at least one footslogging Farseer in my army because of his truly beaufiul model and possibility to put him in Serpent with Guards ( or Wraithblades perhaps )?

I started the same way as you with the collecting set and built up from there. For value you cant wrong and i will be eventually buying 2 more.

It depends how you want to play, pick up games you'll do fine with a wraith army, competitive games alaitoc theres no other option.

Wraithlords i run them quite cheap with 2x catapult and 2x cannon, they can advance up the field and still shoot, and providing theres 2-3 to deal with in their lines it can cause a massive problem.

Your serpent loadout is great, id add vector engines for -1 to it as you'll be advancing anyway to get your wraithguard into position next turn.

I find sythes better than cannons on the wraithguard, the cannons still have to roll to hit which against flyers and -1 rules really affects them. The flamers provide good overwatch, good against all targets instrad of just vehicles and there only 5pts more.

Wraithblades are a fun unit, take the swords for horde clearing or axes for the unkillable unit when all the spell buffs are on them. The models look great as well.

The warwalker is a great platform for some long range firepower in the form of bright lances, perfect target for guide if you run 3 and they can come on from reinforcements to stop them getting shot.

Hemlocks can be added to a fluffy wraith list, just be careful not to spam them as there one of our best units.

The wraithkinght is not what it used to be but it is a great centre piece model, and with the relic it can put out 24 stampy feet attacks.

Like i said before you can go really crazy with eldar at the moment if you want to enter tournaments but on the otherhand people will have no complaints from a wraith army.

Greetings young seer,

To master the eldar trickery well, you must watch lots of youtube battle reports from the webway.

Buy magnets. Magnetize those eldar weaponry.

Autarch with Swooping hawk wings is good. The Path of Command + sky leap are good. (last minute objective grabber)

Eldrad: Must buy.

Wraithguards, you may want to get 3 unit of these. Must buy. (Dscythe+Wcannon)

Waveserpents: you may want to get 3-4 unit of these.

Wraithknight: buy 1 for now. For 2k games you may want this bad boy in action.

Faction bonus: alaitoc gives your enemy -1 to hit you if your like 12inch away.

Webway stike strategem: You could deep strike your units with Webway stike (strategem). This is crazy good. You could deep strike your unit in yo-face playstyle.

Remember to play the objective.

Okay, I put together one "proof of concept" army list today and I wonder what will you say about it - is this worth anything and a good idea for a future shopping list?

The one other option I was discussing about with my friend Was to take Battalion Detachment with Rangers as Troops along with Alaitoc ruleset. Better than below, or worse?
