Hey guys,

This is the channels first ever battle report. We've only been live for 5 months or so and it has taken a LOT of effort to get to this stage, but check it out and let me know what you think. We play open war and use power level.

If you like what you see, please think about looking at the crowd funder link in the description. We had to borrow a PC just to get this one online....so we need some help.

Really enjoyed it! High quality thanks.

Bow down to Guilliman for he is our new God Emperor!

Martel - "Custodes are terrible in 8th. Good luck with them. They take all the problems of marines and multiply them."

"Lol, classic martel. 'I know it was strong enough to podium in the biggest tournament in the world but I refuse to acknowledge space marines are good because I can't win with them and it can't possibly be ME'."

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough.

Quite good. You're very much in the same style as Tabletop Tactics which is a great thing to ape (they're the only things on the internet I pay to watch outside of Netflix).

Some feedback:

1) Work on trimming some of the explanations. The bit on your deployment of the Eldar was a bit long winded. We don't need to know quite so much. Just a cursory "they're watching the back field, these guys are the attacking force". You could trim this a good bit and we'll still understand.

2) The bearded fellow was talkative enough, the other guy wasn't. A big part of a good battle report is charisma, banter, and talking etc. I know it's the first report but the Ultramarines player looked a bit gun shy. The primary reason I pay for Tabletop Tactics is because they're charismatic, fun to watch, laughing and having a good time...it has little to nothing to do with the models/gaming. Without that, it's just "another battle report" and there are hundreds of them on YouTube.

3) You had a couple of minor rules issues and missed, but that's...going to happen. It happens in every battle report on every channel I've seen.

4) The banner looks good, the table looks good, models are painted well. The editing is good, cut screens are professional looking. You have the "quality" down very well for a first report. That's all good so far.

5) Camera work is pretty good, very steady and covers the right stuff. I'm only 1 hour and fifteen in, but it's all done well enough - definitely to the standard of most other channels.

Overall, top notch.

Thank you for the feedback. Very much appreciated. In answer to the points above:

1) - Totally agree, I am hoping this will become smoother and more second nature with time and practice.

2) - Yes, as the bearded guy in question, it is my channel and I find it really easy to waffle on camera. The other guy is a bit shy, but he is quite new to it all. I am hoping that the more we stick him in front of the camera the more relaxed he ill become and that will start to shine through.

3) - It is so hard to remember all of them and narrate and film. I thought we had nailed it until I watched it back. Kicked myself a few times. Thank you for understanding.

4 + 5) - Thank you so much for the compliment. It was hard being the first one but I think it came out ok. I surprised myself in fact. I really hope we can build on this base.

Hey for a first run it was great. Looking forward to seeing “moar” of your videos.

One of the best pieces of advice I could give you is work constantly to improve but recognize you aren’t going to make every one happy. Cheers
