Subject: Legions for ranged combat?

Out of all the Legions, which one's passive effects (so not necessarily certain Rites of War, special weapons/relics, and units) benefit ranged combat the most?
This playstyle would rather like to avoid melee at all costs, preferring to sit back and shoot. Movement wouldn't be a massive priority, favouring ranged combat at the exclusion of much else. Close ranged shooting wouldn't be great, but it wouldn't be the worst thing.
I already do Ultramarines, so a Legion which contrasts them colour/style wise would be very nice, preferably a Traitor Legion (doesn't necessarily need to be played as a traitor).
The ones I'm thinking of are Iron Warriors, Death Guard and Alpha Legion?

IF get +1 BS for bolt weapons I believe, and gain stubborn while in cover (or it might be while in a fortification). That seams pretty shooty.

If you want pure shooting then iron warriors are fairly solid.
Siege terminators and quad mortars everywhere.
Just sit back and shell the other army to death.
If you don't mind a loyalist army and have a supply of assault cannons, blood angels.
They can swap a heavy flamer for an assault cannon.
So every vehicle you have will be packing assault cannons.
Dreads like a leviathan can have 2x storm cannons, 2x assault cannons and phosphex launcher.
Then you get stuff like the sicaran variants.
The one with a giant assault cannon is perfect as you can swap and slap around 5 assault cannons on that too.
Rhinos with pintle heavy flamer?
Swap it for assault cannon.
10 man heavy support squads with assault cannons.
You literally can go mad with the amount of them you take.
Playing against this though is insanely cruel and really no fun atall.

Iron warriors are actually more combat oriented than most give them credit for; no moral checks for shooting casualties, fury of the legion then charging, and fearless near ironfire markers. Tempting as it is to go pure barrage with iw, you miss out on a lot of their benefits if you do.

IW can also run 4x heavy supports in one of their rites of war.
The Iron Havocs are pretty awesome when paired with Kyr Vhalen, BS5, -1 to cover saves and his warlord trait gives a unit re-rolls of 1 to hit while in their deployment zone so effectively twin linked BS5.
Iron Fire is strong when paired with guys moving forward (so a proper combined arms approach). And fluff wise, phosphex rounds seem to fit.

Alpha Legion, man! Being able to infiltrate an entire army to counter-deploy to your opponent, scouting an entire army to get right in their face with dedicated transports, giving them all tank-hunter for some silliness in the back field. Doesn't get much better then that for dictating the flow of battle.

-Deathguard. They have a RoW that lets you take heavy support squads as troops. You can be spitting out 80 Missiles a turn in a 2500 point game.
-Iron Warriors. The Iron Fire RoW is sit back and shoot at its best and your advancing fire line will murder enemies.
-If you are willing to work some movement into the equation or some melee, Thousand Sons.
