As far as I know this only affects Android devices. It's not a problem in PC.
When I'm reading a thread many posts are in tiny font and many are sized normally. I thought it might be people falling to close size blocks properly but it is too frequent and I've seen it happen to my own posts when I've not had a size block at all.

Probably work

I've never really heard anyone else complain about it, but I've seen that across maybe 4 years and at least as many phones. I've always kind of just ignored it, honestly.

It is really bizarre and rather annoying. If it could be fixed I'd greatly appreciate it.

It is a really annoying 'feature' of android, where the OS tries to guess the most appropriate font size and overrides the website's settings. I've tried a bunch of things to cancel it out but nothing works short of a full redesign of Dakka.

Has anyone discovered a workaround for this? It really puts me off reading Dakka on my mobile

I get it too sometimes and I have to zoom in. Bit annoying.
I find it more annoying when people post pictures too big and I have to add scrolling side to side up and down for the entire page. At times I just skip the page all together.

Yeah same here. About 2 years ago my tablet broke and so Ive been using my phone instead and it does happen. Ive noticed it more on threads with pictures. Some pics just FUBAR the whole thread regardless if the picture is in a spoiler box or not. It is annoying but you just kind of deal with it

Seen this as well. I am also occasionally getting an extremely strange input delay - when typing this post for example it takes a couple seconds between me hitting a key and the letter appearing onscreen, which doesn't seem to happen anywhere else.

Imagine that you’re sitting down to dinner with your family, and while everyone else gets a serving of the meal, you don’t get any. So you say “I should get my fair share.” And as a direct response to this, your dad corrects you, saying, “everyone should get their fair share.” Now, that’s a wonderful sentiment — indeed, everyone should, and that was kinda your point in the first place: that you should be a part of everyone, and you should get your fair share also. However, dad’s smart-!@# comment just dismissed you and didn’t solve the problem that you still haven’t gotten any!

The problem is that the statement “I should get my fair share” had an implicit “too” at the end: “I should get my fair share, too, just like everyone else.” But your dad’s response treated your statement as though you meant “only I should get my fair share”, which clearly was not your intention. As a result, his statement that “everyone should get their fair share,” while true, only served to ignore the problem you were trying to point out.

That is why we need feminism, and why I am not simply egalitarian.
