Been looking for a new list for this years tourney circuit. Played around with Nymgar, deadeyescurrg, harpoon zs and a few others but am yet to settle. Then I thought of all the fun I had with the bros' and of course there now exists a crew version. So made this for people to rip apart;
IG-88C (36)Push the Limit (3)Fire-Control System (2)IG-2000 (0)Ketsu Onyo (38)Push the Limit (3)IG-88D (1)Contraband Cybernetics (1)Engine Upgrade (4)Sunny Bounder (14)"Light Scyk" Interceptor (-2)

What do you think? Gonna die like a duck in Peking or might stand a chance? Sunny is there really to add something different, might spend those 12pts adding to the two other ships.

I think I'd rather have a pirate Z for 12 points, but it could certainly work.

Seconding the z-95. The scyk is nowhere near enough of an upgrade over the z-95 to justify spending those points on it instead of autothrusters for IG-88. In general it's probably best to just assume that autothrusters is stapled to the card, it's a mandatory upgrade on ships like this.
Also, Asajj is generally a better choice than Ketsu. Ketsu's pilot ability is just too difficult to pull off consistently, while Asajj is easier and very powerful. This coincidentally frees up another point, giving you another illicit upgrade.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

Not sure about the filler ship, they rarely do much, and whilst upgrade overload isn't ideal it usually payoffs better, AT, Glitterstim etc

Yeah, drop the Scyck to put a Heavy Laser Cannon and Autothrusters on IG-88. Even without "B", it will still do a lot to boost your firepower. Going with Asaj, this gives you 5pt for illicits.

Sunny with light title is comfortably better than a naked Z95. That said you almost certainly should drop it and improve the brobots. In this meta you really need some control in your list, and I’d recommend ion in particular.
Also if you ptl, you absolutely want advanced sensors.

Thanks for all the advice so far. I will try out using Sunny/Z/no filler and see how it goes. If I use Dengar again I think I will be murdered.
So cannon wise HLC seems the better fit?
Vargas- As the ship pushes off the second action I dont think I do want AS.

Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!

The HLC can be good, especially at range 3 where the autothrusters come into play, and denying the extra defense die is always a good thing

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard. |

You’ll have to explain that in more detail as I absolutely don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to remove your stress by taking your actions and then taking a green.

Yes, the standard formula is Adv. Sensors - Action - PTL - stress - reveal green maneouvre.
