Objective based games are going to give you issues. Scouts are good screening units but aren't so great at holding forward objectives. Suggest at least one or two small squads of Intercessors. Flyers aren't that competitive after the recent price increases IMO, consider more units that can benefit from the RG -1 to hit outside of 12".

Would you say drop all the flyers and spend points on predators or dreadnoughts? And a few more troops like you said for forward objectives.

I would change the primaris Lt to a Regular marine Lt with jumppack and ravens fury relic with thunder hammer. Next I include vanguard vets with jumppack instead of flyers. I like using Strike from the shadows on claw vets , plasma pistol vets, and agressors. Yes it uses 1 CP per unit but I have found in multiple games the benefits outweigh not having a ton of CP. the I place them all in cover outside of 12" of the enemy when I use SFTS. They can move and act normally on my turn and shrike and the Lt can deepstrike down on my turn to provide aura bubble on rerolls for hit, wounds , and charges on jumppack guys. SFTS on hell blasters or plasma sternguard are great also to put them in rapid fire range. The best part of SFTS is that it occurs after you determine who goes first at the beginning of the battle rd. So you can decide whether it's worthwhile to use it and where.

I like this list.

I am NOT a fan of the sniper rifle configuration. Less firepower, immobile, and it's easy for an opponent to keep a key character out of sight. And if you're using your scouts for that, you have no bubble wrap.

Alas that marines have no better options if they want to hit characters.

Aggressors are short range dudes, but you have no way to transport them. Read the fine print on stormravens.

I never use scouts but the OP included them so I figured he might want them.

Scouts are meh, other than for a bubble wrap.
As you have only one vehicle, the enemy will pour all its anti-tank weapons into your flyer. Not sure if it will survive first turn.

Scouts are very effective in giving you board control in the beginning of the game. So much of this game is determined by the alpha strike anymore. So being able to keep your opponent way back from your deployment zone using well placed scouts is very useful in most cases. There is nothing like forcing your opponent to use his Alpha Legion Berserkers to drop in and kill your scouts. Im am not convinced sniper rifles are worth it but I run them for the range.

I also agree with the UnlikelyGamer. The vets alpha strike with jetpacks and claws is very good.

I don't think flyers have been nerfed so bad that they shouldent be used. I still think they have some of the best gun platforms for the price available. I have been experimenting with Fire Raptors myself since they got a much needed point drop.

I like your choice of taking a unit of devastators. I think I would throw some more space marines in front of those lascannons =).

I am not a fan of hell blasters. I think they are too expensive.

Anyway that's my two cents. Would love to see what you come up with revision wise. Goodluck!

Shrike/vets with aggressors can strike from shadows, with the stormtalons supporting. Rest would castle up near objectives at back.
