So the list is heavy on Dreads, which I love. The obvious weakness is heavy lascannon lists. However I did play test this list against a
IG gun line and end up tabling him. The good thing about this list is there are two dreads backed up by two that can’t be targeted and even if one falls the other will be in there the next turn. Also if I get first turn all my reserves will be dropping in.
The strat of the list is use 1CP on the captain for
DC rules, 1
CP to use two relics. The
DC/Captain/Lamartes will all drop together with Lamartes giving rerolls to all of them. The
VV and Chaplain will drop together and go after the biggest threat. As long as they kill what they go after I’m happy. These guys are tough as nails and in all of my games have absorbed tons of fire . The dreads and P Libby will move up on a flank. The
DC dread is surpriseingly fast and has made it to the enemy in all my games. Same goes for my Libby dreads. Both of my Libby dreads will take Wings/Quicken and alternating casting them. This has worked wonders. P Libby will take shield/unleash rage and act as a support unit to the dreads but also to my other units if they are close by. The Redemptor is there for anti horde and can absorb shots. In most games that I didn’t get first turn he took the most shots which allowed the
DC Dread to get in freely.

DC have Bolters that can take them other than the
TH and the ones with Inferno Pistols.
